So there simply isn't any reason why the firmware update shouldn't be online by now. Or is the Opus scheduled to run on a Beta version for the time to come as well?
And so far ALL of their firmware versions have been kind of beta - some bugs fixed, some features added and some new bugs too.

Tell you what, by this time I'm really upset! There is NO change in information policy, NO firmware update , NO telling us anything...

This IS exactly the kind of behaviour, that WILL keep me from buying anything from them in the future!!! Sorry, the Opus could be the best reader in the world (and it's not), but I'm simply not interested anymore.

And I think I'll keep my V1.2/834 firmware too. There are no new features that I desperately need/want and if I stick to Mobi everything works fine, no crashes, errors whatsoever. (No need for new bugs!)

@Bookeen: Sure, loosing me as a customer wouldn't hurt you that much (and I've already bought a Gen3), but in the next 6 months I'll buy at least 3 new devices (two 5" readers - one for me, one for my wife and one 6" for my father - for christmas) + influence a couple (interested friends keep asking me about my reader/experiences) and they definitely won't be from your company!
