Yes, they finally pulled me out from under the car, I stood up, did a quick triage, and the only damages were a skinned knee and ripped nylon (from when I fell) and a tire track across my butt (really showed up nicely on the black skirt, I might add).

Typically, when I told people there about what happened, they asked me if I'd gotten the driver's license and insurance information. I kept telling them I wasn't HURT, skinned knee, small dry cleaning bill, new pantyhose max less than $10 (back then).

They kept insisting that I might have dire internal injuries, mental anguish!! I'm a transactional attorney .... it takes a whole lot of something more than a skinned knee to push me over that edge.

Well, ok, but if I had tire tracks on my butt, I'd have mental anguish! And I bet you were at least sore the next day.
