The last book I read before getting a reader was a 1,000+ page paperback. It was heavy. I had to prop it up on a pillow to read it but that meant I couldn't shift positions in bed while I read. A few months ago, there was a book I wanted and it was only available in Topaz format (which I loathe). It was the worst Topaz book I'd ever seen. There were huge OCR errors in it and it was painfully slow turning pages, however it was another book that was 1,000 pages in paperback. I would rather deal with the most craptacular of all ebook copies than that again.
