Nah, paint is fine. It's just that it had poor quality flat paint on the walls before (that didn't take scrubbing very well). It now has very high quality semi-gloss paint on the walls that you can scrub the bejezus out of (I know, I've used it before).

I wanted to take the towel ring down because, whenever I put a hand towel on it, the cats would just hop up there and pee on it. So, now there is a roll of paper towels under the sink, and some nice hand towels in the drawer of the sink cabinet.

This particular bathroom was originally meant to be a guest bath, so it's right by the front door. I hate that because if one of the cats takes a dump in one of the litter boxes in there (I have four in what used to be the shower), it's the first thing you smell when you walk in the front door.

SO, the next job is going to be to install a cat flap in the bathroom door (using upholstery foam as a gasket) so I can leave that door closed. That will be one of my weekend projects.

They still don't have the base paint in for the great room, so I can't finish up that particular painting job until it arrives. I'll just finish up the baseboards in there since I still have plenty of the good quality Deep Cream semi gloss to play with.
