heh, no, i said "sure, we can meet thursday afternoon." of course i may have been thinking something else...
what was much more annoying than the original suggestion was that he phoned me to set the details at 10 in the morning !! sheesh, whatever happened to sleeping late on a holiday ???? (i was already awake, but that was totally unintentional, i had hoped not to be, and i don't like to be phoned at 10 in the morning on *any* day. ironically, i had the water running when he called and didn't hear my phone, and he left me a message saying "you'll still asleep at 10 o'clock, that worries me !" so when i called him back 5 minutes later i said "actually i *wasn't* asleep but i should have been, it's a holiday after all !" sheesh !)
the good news is the meeting went very well and if the project goes forward as planned it will be a good one.
and today the weather seems really nice, sunny and warm. we didn't even get the storms they announced yesterday although it did get very cloudy towards the end of the day.
