No, it is not worthless. Anyone running 5.19.2 could manually update to 5.19.3 and then jailbreak. Once done the jailbreak should persist through future firmware updates or downgrades (possible via the jailbreak) due to the hotfix.

The effort isn’t wasted. Exploits are always patched once Amazon finds out about them.
