The Eureka TV series novelizations are also good.

If it doesn't have to be science fiction and only comedy, I do enjoy the Jeeves stories by P.G. Wodehouse.
If you have Netgalley there is a sci fi book called Valet that mentions Wodehouse in the blurb. I haven't read it yet and it comes out in June
