I recomand to look at it too. To give you more information:
Comments Cleaner allow to remove the formating of comment with a various options to get a great granularity in you result. The keys features is that it can also apply some formating to better standardize comments and it save the result into Calibre format (as HTML).
Clean Comments is a more radical option because it transform HTML comment into raw txt. It efficase and simple, but the main issue is that this is
not how Calibre saves comments. So if you ever modify a comment afterwards, it will be converted back to HTML and you will
need have to perform the plugin again.
