This. I never read in bed. I go to bed to sleep. I've had insomnia problems in the past and it's best to reserve the bed for sleeping. If I can't sleep, I get up. My wife likes to fall asleep watching TV which I've gotten used to. It's background noise which helps if my tinnitus is particularly bad that day.
