I have another bug to fix in Bookshelf view. When I click Group by and select Hyphen, it shows when the books with hyphens start, but not when they end.
This snip shows the bug and shows the dull muted colors that need fixing. Have a look at the last cover on the lower right. It's unreadable.

For the cover, is not a bug, it work as indented:
The cover is draw with a transparency and a backround color corresponding at the dominant color of the cover. If the colors are dull and muted, is because the cover, and so it dominant color, is very dark.
But, as requested by @jackie_w, you can now control the opacity of the thumbnail cover

Else, for your Hyphen Group by, the group end end when a new divider appear, so if you group is very long, the next divider could not appear on the screen.
And for this issue that re-adding a template after removed both, you seem not the only one to encouter it, I will check that.
