When your 94 year old mother falls, breaks her hip, has surgery, is struggling with low blood pressure, confusion, etc. but your older sister who lives 600 miles away can only be bothered to text a couple of times to see how mom is doing.
She is getting updates from her 2 daughters who live near the hospital, but I'm the one with the POA, talking to the doctors, planning rehab, and have clocked 30 hours at the hospital the last 3 days. But do I get a phone call? 🦗
