Downgrading to 5.4.4 first, then following chaitanyal's method should work. I bit the bullet after possumbly_human verified they had no issues with chaitanyal's method and everything seems to be working fine on my PW1.

Downgraded to 5.3.3, redid everything and it worked, thanks a lot (:
