Patching is not needed. However, it may easily be that your patches have broken something. When I tap on More, I see My Wishlist, My Dropbox, My Google Drive, My Articles, Activity, Beta Features, Setting and Help.
Unless you have turned Parental Controls on, I really can't see any other way that you could see the results you are seeing.
