I check my LibraryThing account rather than my Calibre, because sometimes it may be a month since I've last connected my Sage to my PC to pull down all the latest books I've bought.

I completed my Amazon migration long ago, but my uncle called me in a panic some time last week when he was made aware of the deadline, and was very concerned about losing access to the 180 or so books he's bought from Amazon since 2010. So I went over the weekend to help him get everything bulk-downloaded and imported into Calibre.

Ironically, since I ended up using the Kindle for PC method, we probably didn't even need to do this head of the deadline. But it felt good to help him get it done, anyway. He's now considering getting a Kobo when he Kindle Oasis finally gives up the ghost.

Reminds me that I need to take another stab at setting up K4PC in Wine on my Linux machine. I'm mostly out of the Kindle ecosystem except for comics, because Amazon's Comixology acquisition simply made them head-and-shoulders above the competition on that front, and I still buy them regularly when on sale.
