Of course not. But people whose only reader is Kobo Libra 2 are far less likely to buy ebooks from Amazon than someone with a Kindle. Say, a person decides to buy a new Paperwhite and trades in or sells their older Kindle. They happily continue buying ebooks from Amazon as they have always done... and then they discover they can no longer use D&T to liberate their ebooks.
Whereas someone who had a Kindle and now decides to get a Kobo and read their Amazon ebooks on that, presumably does their research into liberating their Amazon purchases before selling their Kindle.
