I just looked at the my state's surveillance report, the KP.3 variant has been at the top of the prevalence list for 6 months, KW.1.1 and XEC have been and gone. I think that's the longest any variant hasn't been overtaken by a new one in this state.
Given I've never had the flu or covid I wonder why I bother with the vaccinations… apart from Sod's Law.

I got one of each. I had the choice of one in each arm of both in my choice of arm. I chose one in each arm. No idea which was in which arm.
The only side effect was I got tried and cold the night I got my injections. I was a little bit tired the next day and my left arm bothered me a little for a few days. Overall, not bad.
