I can confirm on my Clara 2E, using the mod and the kernel patch provided above, the cheap BOOD-202 device is turning pages.

FWIW, here's the settings for this device.

[root@kobo ~]# cat mnt/onboard/.btpt/BOOD-202 
nextPage 1 115 0

Which translates to "nextPage EV_KEY KEY_VOLUMEUP 0"
