TL;DR: There's a reason I just didn't blindly push that version to the snapshots, that reason is I'm not entirely sure it doesn't completely break the core part of the JB, hence the requested testing ^^. Over the years, I've learned *not* to push stuff I've hotfixed in a rush while in a half-delirious sleep-deprived state .
Ah, I misread, thought it was an optional step

I also tested on a PW4 that had an older hotfix. This time I flashed via UYK, "Update successful," device booted, and root is now mounted read-only on each reboot.
