A vent & rant is about things that affect you. Are you really saying that people can't have opinions that differ from your own, because that offends you? Huh. There are a lot of political movements that have that as their raison d'être.

In other words, no one's forcing you to read series books out of order. We've all done it, though, even if only in the misty paper past when you could only read what you could get and we've all managed to muscle on. My own opinion is that with some series, you might be better served by starting a book or two in, once the author's found his/her feet. As with Whose Body?. There's also a critical difference between a series and a serial. One's more or less standalone, the other is not.

But there. I know you're only doing this for attention and now you've got it.
