I got made redundant from my other university job last year. Naturally, we are planning a campaign but, if it fails then I will be needing a new job. Does anyone want an editor and converter of ebooks?

I am so sorry to hear that, Patricia. Apparently, education cuts are world wide. Thousands in my state alone. I hope you are able to find something soon.
Here is a really stupid side issue here. Many teachers won't know until AUGUST if they will have a job next year. And, realize that school starts the end of August. Apparently the district feels no one will mind just hanging around waiting. What they are suppose to do until then is not addressed. The stress must be enormous. Of course, I see no cuts in the state legislatures enormous budgets, or staff, or in the district's bloated staff.
Again, my sympathies.
