One of the things I most look forward to each summer is swimming every day (there's no good option the rest of the year). The outdoor pool at the local university opened two weeks ago, and just today, as I was dragging myself up and down the lap lanes, I thought to myself, "Huh. I used to think this was fun." Sigh.

I still think it's going to be fun, but I'm not there yet. Thank goodness for my waterproof MP3 player, because it's keeping me going. At least I've got something to distract me.
