After a couple of cycles of this, I hit the described bug.
What I am doing is checking that my style changes work correctly, and only the actual reader on the Kindle seems to be 100% accurate with what I will see.
I'm sure this is not a Calibre error, but I would like to know if other users have seen similar loss of their preferred theme. Until I found the workaround, I thought I was completely messing up the CSS, but couldn't figure out what it could be. |
This happens to me occasionally, sometimes even with books that I've purchased from Amazon and downloaded directly from them. I don't think it's a problem with Calibre, or the way you have formatted the book, I think it's just a bug with the Kindle.
