Clara HD - eReader-4.35.20400 Driver Error

I'm on Windows 11, and I've had problems for a while with ejecting the device.

It got so bad that I reset the Clara.

What happens is that the device is not completely ejected, the screen continues to say "Connected and Charging". I have to manually unplug it and then the screen will flash and the importing of books will begin.

I'm sort of convinced that the problem is with Windows and I was hoping that someone had run into this and solved it.

What I found is that in Settings -> Bluetooth & Devices -> Devices, I get "eReader-4.35.20400 Driver error".

I have not uninstalled the device in Device Manager because I'm afraid of making things worse - but I will if it helps.

When I first reset the Clara, it did eject cleanly and started importing books right away, even though it was still connected by USB.

Now it simply lays there like a lump.

EDIT: I wanted to add that before the reset, the device would start importing but the books never showed up anywhere. That's why I finally reset the Clara.
