It's good enough to have on while stitching. I only have 2 episodes left, though tonight I'm watching a podcast, but I'll finish S&B probably tomorrow.

I get that ("good enough to have on whilst stitching"), I do. I have shows like that, largely older bits from somewhere in time, the 80's, etc. or older (like my buddies Perry, Della and Paul). "Good enough" to put on when the insomnia is bad, "good enough" to put on while I'm reading something non-fiction for work. Good for periods when I want something playing, but don't want to be engrossed.
It's funny, pre-Mr. Wonderful, I didn't even
have a TV, in my then-apartment. But he has tinnitus, and it's nearly impossible for him to live in silence. The noise in his head/ears/wherever is just horrible, so the TV or music or SOMETHING has to be playing all the time, when he's awake. I don't know if that habit is now mine. I believe it's not--if he were to leave, I'd turn that sucker right the hell off--but as his leaving is highly unlikely, I'm still suck with it playing all gd'ed day. Oh, well, that's marriage for you--it should just be called Compromise. :-)
