The Sage is already 32 Gbyte, 300 dpi and has warm/comfort/orange option. What would a Sage 2E be? Also has page turn buttons, which are still missing on the Elipsa 2E. You can ignore the buttons if you don't want them, but can't use them if they don't exist.
No doubt the Sage and original Elipsa will get FW updates, which will be here:

The Sage is an better size and weight to hold in one hand while writing with the other. There is no advantage to the larger lower DPI screen for the Advanced Notebook. Only for proofing PDF layout, or if you have poorer than average eyesight acuity even with reading glasses.
Edit:
The E on Clara 2E and Elipsa 2E models may stand for Eco or Environment, due to increased use of recycled plastic on case and cover. However given that an ereader has a 5 to 20 year life that's not so critical as a drink bottle or pen.
