All of this is overcomplicating things. Literally the only thing they check is the country you have set in your payment information. The rest of the address need not be a valid address in that country. They may check more specifically than the country for calculating taxes but even then you can travel to whichever subdivision (province/state/whatever) without worrying about using an extant address.

YMMV but that has been my experience. I traveled home again immediately afterwards and have not suffered any ill effects. I even recently bought myself a gift card addressed to my own account's email address and got the bonus $10.
