I'm not sure that anybody would say (?) that it's the BEST movie that they've ever seen; in the industry, it's widely considered the "only perfect movie ever made." Don't take my word for it, I'm parroting. You'll need to read about that sentiment from others online.

I do think that for those of us that saw it new, when it was first released, when we were young(er) it's moved into a spot in our hearts unoccupied by other movies. Just something about it, I guess. Between Andre the Giant, Mandy Patinkin IDK. Can't explain it.
