It's been a few months since I connected my Kobo Clara HD (my wife's device) to my Windows 10 computer.

Today, when I connected it (as usual), it looks like the Kobo screen ask to connect, but I see no notification (by Windows) that a device attempted to connect (and no drive designation is showing in the file navigator).

I noted that the device had the automatic update sets to ON and it is now at version 4.34.20097.

I don't know if there is a defect using kobo v4.34 with Windows/calibre.

I factcory reseted the device, but made is worse (as all book are now gone, of course ).

Any recommandation to try and recuperate the device to been recognized by Windows? I do not recall forgetting to eject the device.

Thanks in advance.
You could install the newly released 4.35.20400 firmware and see if that fixes the problem.
