The default location for your Kindle ebooks on a Windows system would be C:\Users\User-name\Documents\My Kindle Content. replace User-name with your user name.

Later versions of K4PC will store the downloads in sub-directories of that directory while older versions just stuffed everything into that directory.

You might also want to do a quick scan through the Dealing with Kindle for PC/Mac 1.19 (and later) and KFX in calibre to help with knowing what versions of K4PC/K4Mac are best to use.
