A good question.
It's hard to get info on this, but I believe it's all dependent on the processor.
For Qualcomm, I think the 845 supports it, but not the 636.
I'll totally guess that the 662 doesn't either?
Better information appreciated.
Edit: Not that HDMI is rocket science. A Raspberry Pi Zero does that for $10-$15.
I use one for a digital signage application running over Bluetooth.
