Clive James has a great voice for narration. Did you ever see some of his stuff from the 80's, the
Clive James Postcard From... "travel programs"? Funny, erudite and perceptive stuff. I've been going to buy the audio of
Cultural Amnesia too. It's abridged, I think, but I also think it was something like 6 hours worth, so I'm not sure the abridgement will be all that damaging
