I'm of the opinion that there are people who could conscientiously make use of DeDRMed library content. So no judgement there on my part. But it seems that promoting the ability to remove DRM (specifically the LCP variety) from library books was a bridge too far.
I don't support the current DMCA Takedown practices (guilty by accusation), but I'm honestly pretty surprised that drm removal projects have enjoyed the freedom they have for so long on code versioning system platforms.
