More precisely, I'm not speaking about the last time I bought a new ereader (I guess I could have sent both of my new Kobos back, if I wanted to), but about earlier times, many years ago. Often I didn't manage to find a seller who shipped directly to my country, and based on the posts here, there are plenty of people in the same situation.

the problem i have with either buying an ereader based on positive reviews on MR or not buying one because of negatives reviews is i may disagree entirely with said reviews/opinions. therefore either keeping it or wanting to send it back.
thankfully i'm not in the position of having to buy an ereader and not being able to return it for whatever reason. if my only option was to buy and risk either not liking it or it being broken and not being able to get a replace or a refund then as i've already said i wouldn't buy it. i appreciate others may vary
best wishes koboy
