I could possibly see that might apply to me as well if I try both devices. Even if I do not like heavy devices (my main concern with the Sage) I usually prefer thinner devices and also flush screens. The screen size of A1 and Forma is perfect for reading books, and I am glad they continued with that size on the Sage. I would not like to have smaller screens and the Elipsa is too big for me. |
The weight was my main concern as well, and I'm a total couch potato without any muscles to speak of (I don't have arthritis or carpal, though). The first couple of days I had to change hands more frequently, but I'm used to it now. My Nook Glowlight 7.8'' was considerably heavier (I've decided to sell it).
If you're very sensitive to uneven screens, you still might not prefer the Sage. I do see the differences, but I've never been particularly fussy about them. All my frontlit readers, with the exception of the Oasis 3 and the Libra 2, have always been pretty uneven.
