From the eink website, a Carta 1200 8" flexiable screen weighs 28g. A Carta 7.8 Glass screen weighs 37g. So a difference of 9g.
A Kobo Sage weighs 240g. A Forma 197g. So a difference of 43 grams.
Taking out the 9g, that's 34g. So why the extra 34g, beefing it up for a glass substrate?
And it is interesting that the eink site doesn't list a Carta 1200 8" glass substrate panel? Are we sure that the Sage doesn't have a plastic substrate? They also don't list a 8" mobius panel.
