I'm very nearsighted, and while I read with my glasses on, any other way besides not holding the reader myself is not comfortable for my eyes or my neck. And I have 3 cats. Keeping my reader on a desk or a table while reading is pretty dangerous for it. It might get jumped on or knocked off
