Thanks a lot... I think I need to learn to read the log a bit better
I was convinced that I had 5.31.1 because I had the latest (read, no update was proposed) and that was the version available for download...
I guess the code used for prompting an update is not sensing the most minor revision in 3.31

Anyway my problem seems to be solved with a manual update to 5.31.1
