Lamplighters is more 'literary' and has gotten good reviews from the pros. But customer reviews are split and the bad reviews don't seem like people disappointed it wasn't just a potboiler.

So I want to try the book, but can wait for a sale.


I agree: It looks very interesting, but like you that price seems high just to try it out.

I do, however, sometimes pay that price for certain ebooks.
