MyKobo Mini has been restet to factory defaults and I was unable to to make i work as a reader again. So I've found an update image but after applying it kobo has been stuck.
I'm not sure what you mean by an "update image". If a factory reset got it to this state, then it there is probably something wrong with the SD card. I have sent you a PM with link to an image for the Mini. I would suggest restoring the image to a new card. You can use a larger card, but, anything larger than 16GB might not work. You can then recover the rest of the space once the device is working.
