Talking of 911
Just after I left the house yesterday a shiny new white Porsche 911 Carrera coupe pulled up on the other side of my street. I took little notice of it until someone called out "Mr B……. Mr. B……!" I looked towards the voice and saw my doctor climb out of the Porsche.
He was on his way to tell me he was closing up shop and to hand over my file.
I liked this guy because, despite his love of high performance cars, he was lo-tech. Hence the in-person call rather than a telephone call or email. His surgery was within walking distance, his patients didn't have to make an appointment to see him, he did house calls (not that I used them, but I know people who did), etc etc.
So now I have to find another doctor - which is an effing PITA. I suspect finding one that doesn't want to do everything over the phone isn't going to be easy Ψ³
