Wishful thinking that Kindle would notice a fly in their ointment such as Kobo on my part? Yes, I was hoping that amazon would notice Kobo's innovations (innovations compared to Kindles, that is, low bar) and buck up their ideas.
But clearly they will never do that, because they own the world, is that what I’m supposed to think? That’s depressing.
And it’s also a big part of why I moved to Kobo, as I am trying not to give so much money to Bezos. He has more than enough for a million lifetimes, and now he that he has stepped down, I think the only person who used to care about Kindle has left. I expect them to stagnate and count their dollars while stagnating. I like that Kobo is not stagnating.
