I tend to side with PJ and Hitch. The female lead, well, I can't remember the name of the actress or the character right now. I can only hear Lucifer calling her "Detective." She is about as...dare I say it...generic as they come.
Tom Ellis makes the show. But I acknowledge that the same schtick can get a bit trying to watch episode after episode, and he does play the character as a bit of a one-schtick pony. But I could say the same for William Shatner's Captain Kirk, and I love him too.
