Thank you to all who have made this possible, I really appreciate your efforts which help combat the unethical actions of Amazon. I have just jailbroken my kindle (running fw 5.10.1.3-pw4) and would like to make sure that:
1. Pressing "prevent OTA updates" in kual Helper prevents updates under all circumstances including if I restart the kindle or connect to any wifi, and that it will continue to do so in the future if i stay on my current fw.
2. Registering my jailbroken kindle will not compromise the jailbreak or the prevention of the OTA updates- will amazon know that my kindle is jailbroken-will there be consequences for this?
If possible I would also like to know if there is a better way; to create new folders and manipulate and move files into them, than using KOreader (bascially I am looking for KOreaders file managing interface without launching KOreader).
