And in that case I'd use the tolino I have. They do support downloading the Adobe DRM protected books.
And for my curiosity, what Android ereader app are you using that supports this? I've never bothered to look to much as I don't tend to read on my phone. But, it is always useful to know.

You are completely correct. I look at what is easily available
here. I don't choose to buy from overseas when I can source something suitable to my needs locally. Especially when I am uncertain and want to experiment a little.

What exactly do you mean by this? What exactly are they telling me that I should not believe or tell people about?
And, where in any of my posts recommending these devices have I made a statement not explicitly based on my experience with these devices? Was I not clear in the first post I made in this thread about this? From memory, I explicitly refrained from making any suggestions about the devices that you are so enamoured with,

What? That doesn't make sense to me. Unless you mean that everything costs money and once you choose a path, changing to another costs more money. Then I have to agree.

Honestly, I have no real way to measure this. And I'd be surprised if you do as well. I mean, it would mean you had access to all these devices and knowledge of all the parts in them all. But, all the ereaders I have had in my hands have been of similar quality. And that quality is more than acceptable. I know they use low-end processors to keep costs and power usage down. But, I have no hassle with this as they do the job they are designed to. I am happy with a single use device that I consider to be well designed.
