When you consider the crap that a car collects while driving? Letting a moose lick your car might qualify as endangering wildlife.

On a more serious note, a few decades back, one of our family dogs picked up the habit of licking car tires/wheel wells. She got very ill and the vet blamed that habit for her health issue blaming it on the salt accumulating during winter driving.
