Did the screen look identical to you visually HerbieNL? Aside from the dimensions being a touch off, would you say the contrast/sharpness of image was bang on?

And again, a week after the reaction, I get an email with there is a reaction to your post..
But for your question, yes I think the contrast and sharpness is bang on. Like you I already bought a new one, but the repaired one is now heavily used by my 2 sons (10 and 11)and like McDonalds there loving it
. I'm very happy with the replacement screen (aside of the money difference in buying a new lcd screen in Holland or in China).
