Why are you converting?
Just
have let Calibre use the OS's installed PDF handler (for many of us,that is Adobe Reader. but that choice is yours).
OR
Set up
Open With if you need a SECOND PDF app .
Preferences: Behavior: REMOVE the tick next to PDF to let the OS (default) handle that format
