I've really enjoyed Trudi Canavan's Black Magician and Traitor Spy series, but haven't read any of her Millennium's Rule series. (Although I have the first book, which I bought back when it was on sale, but it's still in my TBR pile.)

Now here is the second book in the series, Angel of Storms, on sale for $1.99 at Kindle and Kobo US. I can't decide whether to try to read at least the first few chapters of the first book now, before buying the second, or just trust that I'll like this series since I really liked the other two. Decisions, decisions!
