I have a 8yo $200 23" lcd monitor whose controls I haven't touched in years. I don't really notice a difference.
I also have a first gen galaxy tab S, which is 6? yo. I've left the brightness slider still pretty much in the same place, around 30% daytime, though the OLED panel has definitely degraded and gotten yellower.
So not sure what's up with the voyage
