Are you sure you installed calibre? Where did you see a device "Kindle Emulator"? Do you have Kindle for PC installed? You will need that to download your ebooks from Amazon before they will show in it's My Kindle Content directory.

I've attached an image of the Welcome wizard's device selection. No Kindle Emulator to be seen.
